Helping refugees resettle by introducing them to the communities in which they’ll be living

The REP team has an inherent love for LA, and we want to share everything the city has to offer by being cultural ambassadors for those resettling.

During our orientations, we:

• Showcase quintessential LA landmarks

• Supply refugees with personalized orientation lists

  (translated to their native language + catered to the area in which they’ll be resettling)

  • “LA Hotspots Map ” —> Restaurants they should try, outings they can experience, movie theaters, malls, + libraries

  • “Important Contacts List” —> Local police and fire station, hospitals, pharmacies + their local Chamber of Commerce

  • “Need-to-knows” —> American slang, useful apps, etc

• Provide them with a personalized resettlement gift basket

• Listen + learn as they share their stories
