REP 4 Refugee Children
Building child-friendly spaces for Venezuelan refugee children
According to the UNHCR, "6 million Venezuelans have fled (Venezuela) since 2014" due to "rampant violence, inflation, gang-warfare, soaring crime rates, ...shortages of food, medicine, and essential services." The number of refugees & mixed migrants fleeing the country will soon exceed those of the Syrian refugee crisis.
In response, REP held a long-term campaign with the help of IsraAID, a non-governmental humanitarian aid organization. We provided supplies & educational materials to help sponsor a child-friendly space in Colombia for children fleeing the Venezuelan crisis.

REP is sponsoring Child-Friendly Spaces in Refugee Camps to address the largest growing refugee crisis in the world: The Venezuelan Refugee Crisis.
Our campaign began with a cookie sale in the first three weeks of May 2021. REP collaborated with Zooies Cookies, a refugee-owned business, by creating a menu and selling cookies to residents across Los Angeles.
